Dear All,
I am a Canadian citizen and now my parents are visiting from India. They have Canadian visa.
I would like to take them to New York just for a visit.
My question is can I apply for their US visit visa from Toronto? or they have to apply from India?
Many thanks
A
It is recommended to apply from India. The queue list to get an appointment from Canada is very long and sometimes, they may be rejected owing to the need to apply from the home country.
The reverse is quite easy (ie.) apply from USA to get a visit visa to Canada.

Any inputs from other senior desi's.............
The chances of getting denied are extremely high if they apply from Canada. It is highly, highly recommended they get their visa from India to avoid all the frustration if visa gets denied in Toronto.

Many Thanks Dimple!
Don't waste your time , energy and money . The US visa costs $$$$ , plus FBI finger printing & backgroung checks and all that jazz ..& they will be denied at the end of it
If they are Canadian PR its a different thing ..but as Indian citizens on visitor visa to Canada..forget it.
I know a girl , who is Canadian PR but on an Indian PP ( no Canadian PP yet as she is NOT Cad citizen ), she got US vistor visa in about 2 weeks after all the formalities on her Indian PP.
Thanks Adam
