Dear All,

Can any one give me clarity on "How long you can stay in india after getting VISA before it expires"?, I mean after getting VISA, within what maximum time frame, I have to leave the country?

Hi,

The visa expires from one year of your medicals. ie. If you have done the medicals today, even if the CIC issues visa in September, your visa will be valid until next year June. You should land before the expiration of visa.

Also note that it is mentioned that there would be no relaxation to the condition of landing within the mentioned date.

Hi VJ,

I did my medicals on 24th May 2004 & the visa validity is till 24th May 2005. Visa recd. in July 1st week.
