I think some of the SC/ST/BC who have taken the advantage of reservations are doing far far better than the upper class Hindus and they are definitely tolerated so your statement doesn't hold any water. A good example is having a minority and non-Hindu President - Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. You won't find any such example of having a minority class person becoming the head of the nation easily.

Yeah tolerated but not appreciated, they still are called low caste and dalits even though their economic situation might have improved...

Do you have data to back-up ?
I am my self from BC class and my community is doing very good - don't blame system for your failure -
think about kids who has better grades and had to wait in line while other people get admission without delayed because of cast reservation ? - Are those people who work hard to get grad don't deserve ?
i strongly believe there should be no reservation/Quota for any groups. govt should remove all reservation system and put one simple system where everyone can get grant/help strictly based on financial condition and merritt.
Cast system was good in early days, but now it's a strong tools for political agenda.
ALSO WE CAN MAKE EVERYONE HAPPY - BUT WE HAVE TO START TAKING SOME STEPS FOR BETTER SYSTEM AND FUTURE -

I don't understand how reservation can be allowed constitutionally ... As much as discriminating against any caste / religion is discriminatory , so is providing reservation to them ... Isn't it so ?
Is it not unconstitutional per the Constitution of India ?
Vote bank politics at it best .
