Hey guys, don't get me wrong - it was just a suggestion, no hard and fast rules. If you ain't comfortable, you do not have to be dressed formally.

For me, I can conceal my ponch better in a suit than in smart casual! Hihi!

And yes, it might give me an opportunity to actually wear one of the two new suits that I had bought in January 2003, but never got to put them on!

Hi Chandresh,

The concept you have developed is really going to bring you lots of appreciation from all over Canada.

I am pretty-much new to canada (now 3 years). I am self employed in the same field as yours.

I would like to contribute and like to have more knowledge about it.

Hi Guys,

I have got a healthy response and we shall be meeting tomorrow. If someone is having last minute thoughts, please call me today and confirm. I am looking forward to a great meeting and lots of intellectual discussions.

One of my friends suggested - why don't each of us bring with us the evaluations we would have got for our Indian qualifications and compare notes. It seems (I am not sure), different persons are getting different evaluations say from CGA institute. That might be a good topic to discuss in itself.

However, there are some guys who have posted here their willingness to join in, but have not called me to confirm, so I am not counting them in.

I think this depends on which year you completed your CA, experience, degree, etc. I was told by the CGA people that the process is entirely 'subjective' and there is no automatic granting of exemptions.
