Hello
Got my Immigrant Visa (Skilled worker category) and am planning on entering Canada in Oct 2004. I intend to stay there for a week and then return to the US to complete my work commitments. Plan to come back to Canada in Nov 2005.
Would appreciate if the seniors can provide some input on the following or share their experience.
1) Can I enter Canada via car (Personal or rented). Planning on crossing at the Niagara border if I take this route.
2) Do I have to list my personal car in the list of valuables? At this time I am not sure if I will take my car with me when I come back to Canada to settle in Nov 2005.
3) I have read a post that mentioned that one can't apply for SIN without a PR card. Is this true?
4) Any other do's and don't, from your recent experiences.
Appreciate the good work you folks are doing,
MSM
