Here are a few more brit bands that I like....

PULP - Common People

NEW ORDER - Best would be to get the Best of Or you can dl Blue monday, Age of consent, shellshock, Temptation, thieves like us, regret, to get an idea of what they sound like. Lot of Synth but different from techno.

Pulp's great.

NEW ORDER I don't remember hearing. I'll try to see if I can get some of the stuff you mention.

Couple of others recent good Brit bands that come to mind are ColdPlay and Travis.

On a side note, have you ever heard Pink Floyd's Meddle? Not considered their greatest work but it is aboslutely the best album in the world to fall asleep to. I usually start from the second song and puts me to sleep everytime I have trouble sleeping. I'd give anything to watch these guys in concert.

Are you there?

Sorry M8ty’s I will give Metallica a big miss from my fav good old rock bands, don’t know they just don’t sound like they did since da days of Master of the Puppets and Ride the lightning.. To me they have evolved with evolution of rock music into another commercial band..

My all time Old School Rock bands would be:-

• Black Sabbath  b4 Ozzy left..
• Pink Floyd  Def all time fav….
• Led Zapplin Cant have a collection without these lads LOL…
• Joe Satriani  For his master piece Guitar solos…
• The Doors  The Legendary Jim Morrison LOL…
• Iron Maiden  Old School Rock Def….
• AC/DC  Da Aussie Lads LOL…

O.. by the way if you like Pink Floyd try Roger Walters music.. It isn’t any different from Pink Floyd lol wonder why *he was the former bass/vocals with pink Floyd.

The list can go on and on but what’s the point lol, they were the legends and well with time and generation their music will be faded too by getting replaced by new age rock / alternative bands…

However I do like the new bands too but some how they don’t stay in my collection for ever as the old school rock bands…

Cheers
Natt

Interesting....I love Iron Maiden and saw them last year. Live they sound exactly like on record. I have listened to some of Joe Satriani's stuff but not a big fan of Intrumentals. Same with Steve vai.

I saw Roger Water about 5 years ago during his "In the Flesh Tour". Having never seen Floyd live I thought it was still the best concert I have seen to date.

Never liked Ac/Dc much. Big sound but all their songs sound the same....IMO of course.
