This is the question:-

Hello Masoodjee,
I am a PR of Canada and have already sponsored my parents who live in India. They have already received the "confirmation letter" from Delhi Embassy saying that they will get the interview in Aug 2006.
Now, the problem is that when I submitted the application I was in Canada, and I have also completed 2/5 years Canada too.
I have filed taxes too for each year.
I got married 5 months back and have now moved to USA. Now, if I still continue filing taxes for each year, will that help so that they get Immigration.
Or, if i can show some kind of income in Canada, but how ? Not sure.??
Or if I have an apartment on my name which is rented, will that help.
Please advice.
Thanks in advance.

Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee help.

First of all I donn't understand that, How did you receive confirmation of letter for 'August 2006' .
As far as I know, Immigration sending interview letter before 2-3 months, but things can be different.
As far as I know, my lawyer told me to be inside the country until parent immigration is done.
It's basic requriement to being as an sponsurer of your parent. Remember, you have signed the document to support them for 10 yeas after they arrive in canada.
How can u sponser when you are not in the country? But try to check with some good lawyer, r they checking that where are u right now? Did you get married legally, means can canada immigration find out that you are staying in USA and married now.
If they will recheck all this..I am not sure.
Will you please share your timeline?
1. When (Month and Year) did your parents applied for permanent residence in New Delhi?
and
2. When (Month and Year) did you get this letter?
Appreciate your reply as many guys on this forum are waiting to hear from CHC New Delhi for their parent applications.
