Cant he go back to the consulate tomorrow and apply again?:D

Oh sure, as long as he lines up outside the consulate before 5am;)

Better idea. Come to Canada as a PR (skilled category :) ), get citizenship, then go to USA.
He would have to wait a few years though.

I once made a mistake, but I was wrong about it.

Back to Topic: Issues related to Godhra massacre seem to be the main cause for this event.

Let's please stay away from Godhra and riots and stuff. Already had some long drawn out discussions on that with plenty of name-calling and foul lingo.

Sticking to the political aspect of this, it'll be interesting to see how this plays out, especially in the Indian media. I agree with rejecting Modi's visa, why does he need to visit the states anyways? As far as double standards of the U.S. go, you only have to read about their deliberately tame reaction to China's spanking new anti-Taiwan legislation.

The fact is the U.S. only looks out for its own interests, all the "spreading of liberty and freedom" around the world comes with strings (or should I say ropes?) attached. And in their position, I doubt there's any country that would do it differently.

I strongly agree.

Ha Ha Ha...who cares... He can still be present in the USA..virtually via "Video conferencing"....and take it for granted...this step has given him his next election victory :D... (and he has to thank the USA for that)

Looks like both of my predictions have come true...

exactly! I rarely look for moral justifications in any of their actions.
