My sister who is a US citizen is all set to file my green card in the family category any time soon.
My H1B application is pending at the moment to be valid from Oct 1'2007 if approved.
Would there be any issues / conflict if I go for my H1B sticker in Toronto in Sept 07 once the green card petition has been submitted prior to that.
I am a permanent resident of Canada and will complete three years this September 2007.

H1B is a dual intent visa, therefore filing an immigrant petition will not affect your H1 visa application. But if you still want to be cautious, ask your sister to file it once your H1 visa is approved. As it is, family based green card takes minimum 8 to 10 years. Therefore waiting for just a couple of months for your H1B to be stamped is not a big deal.
