I know that area is Kallu area but then which are the good, decent, safe areas in TO.

if possible also avoid albion and martingrover area.......have had gunshootings in that neighbourhood too.

I dont know about all the safe neighbourhoods in T.O but im near dundas and islington (Safe and close to Subway)
and i think for the most part..etobioke is safer. People living in specific areas would be able to tell more.

sheppard and bathust is a nice area 2 stay in. not many problems at all.

ice cream: Kallu area (aren't we getting prejudice here!) then we expect no discrimintion from goras.....let charity begin at home...if you are looking for upscale neighborhood , its fine, plenty of them, yonge/steeles...missisauga....etc etc...

I have been working in Middle East. I am waiting for my immigration visa stamping at London Office.

I would like to settle in Toronto since job opportunities are more and lot of Indians staying there.

I am planning to leave my family in Toronto just after this coming winter and come back to middle east to continue working for further one or two years.

Could anyone suggest Decent place in toronto where my wife ( House Wife ) with two daughters can live comfortably and secured. I mean good Indian neighborhood, easy access to shopping ( For Daily needs), near by Secondary schools etc.

I can afford little higher rent and cost of living for my family's safe living there.

Please Suggest a good place.

I have an old age uncle living in toronto. He has place for rent that is close to everything, transit, shopping, library, indian store, school is acrross the street etc. there are quiet a few indian guys living there in the neighborhood, area is steeles avenue between dufferin street and yonge street. Quiet neighborhood. If it interests you, let me know so i can give you his fone number for you to talk to him.
