I am working in USA and myself and my wife had landed in canada two years back. We had our first kid in usa last year. Eventhough we landed in canada, because of my work (odd hours of work) we are living in usa so far. 6 months back, when we went to get some information about my kid's health, the health department cancelled mine and my wife's health cards. so we started to think of moving to windsor. I have not applied for my son's canadian immigration. My questions are
How do i apply for my kid's (my kid has usa citizenship) immigration?(do i have to do one?)
How do i get my health cards back? (assuming that i am taking an appartment in winsor from october 1st)?
Thanks in advance
1) U need to live 2 out of 5 years in canada to keep your PR alive .
2) You had no business keeping Health cards if you never lived in Canada
3) Yes! you have to file PR for your child (even though he/she is a US citizen) but you can only do it once you start living in Canada
