Hi All the fortunate senior desis,
This is a great platform helping the immigrants in all possible ways, this friendly and cordial platform is existing because of the "desi- bond" .
To give this site a new dimension , may I request the senior desis and other well to do desis to offer and support the new immigrants to obtain Canadian work experience, much sought after qualification in the job market , which is not there with the immigrants.
This help from the desis shall go a long way in truly lifting the spirit of the immigrants, and subsequently they can also contribute the same when they are capable to offer the same to new immigrants then.
Seniors there can draft or formulate guidelines of "do' s and dont's " for the immigrants.
I sincerely urge the "senior desis to give it a thought and act on it if possible.

I am supporting idea of peacock1 and also suggesting :
1) Make different Member Committee (fieldwise) to define support guidlines.
2) Select the Committee's Member who is successed in getting field job within last 2 or 3 years. Becuse trend/trick is going change every day to get field job. Indian CAs who come here before 4 years has got job without much trouble and now its very difficult to get Accounting job.
3) Committees will also present case before Canadian Government for Availablility of Education Loan to new immigrants ( Loan is available but after 1 year! Its really USELESS or AGAINST the new comers)

there are lot of suggestions and things from our sucessful desi. Please come forward to help other desi.

IT IS UNDOUBTEDLY A FANTASTIC IDEA. UNITY MEANS POWER.WE MUST REALIZE THAT AND SPECIALLY FOR NEW IMMIGRANTS.OUR SENIOR DESIS SHOULD PALY A PIVOTAL ROLE.I KNOW IT IS NOT A MANDATORY EXCERCISE FOR THEM, BUT FOR THE SAKE OF OUR COMMONALITY IN COUNTRY OF DEWELLIN,LANGUAGE SPOKEN......,I THNIK THIS ENDEAVOUR WILL BE MILE STONE EFFORT.MOREOVER THERE ARE MANY ISSUES WHICH CAN NOT BE DELT INDIVIDUALLY.IF WE CAN FORM A OFFICAL ASSCIATION , WE CAN PALCE THOSE ISSUES TO THE CANADIAN GOVERNMENT.MANY NEW IMMIGRANT CAN GET PLETHORA OF INFORMATION WHICH WILL BE EXTREMELY HELPFUL FOR THEM.I REQUEST SENIOR DESIS TO TAKE THIS PAIN.
