For all those folks who go gaga over India I have a few questions for you.

Isn’t it a white woman who is ruling India presently and wasn’t this same lady cajoled by the masses to become the prime minister of India?

Does India have a uniform civil code? Will you be displaced from your home in Canada because you do not belong to a certain community? Haven’t thousand of Kashmiri pandit families forced out of their own motherland by terrorists?

When I am traveling by train in Canada I feel safe that I will not be burnt in my compartment because of my religious beliefs. Would you feel a similar sense of security and comfort when you are traveling by trains in India?

Terrorists like Dawood Ibrahim, Sanjay Dutt, Abu Salem and Salman Khan are called bhai’s (brother’s) in India. Shouldn’t India deport them to Guatemala bay?

Didn’t your ancestors pay a tax to the Mughal’s because they professed a different religion? Does Canada expect you to do the same?

When you visit a place of worship in Canada don’t you feel a sense of security? Can you feel the same in India? Aren’t you aware of what happened in Varnasi or Akshardam in Gujarat?

Wasn’t it the “white” British folks who liberated us from the evil Mughal Empire? Did the British ever impose their religion or customs forcibly upon us?

Regards,

Nikhil

I learned this in school.
When life was under evolution phase, it had to adapt as per the environment. The form of life that did not, or cannot, adapted as per the surrounding, perished.

Meghal:

Here's what a masters or a doctorate CAN give you! A laminated certificate and some letters in bold on your resume.

Here's what it can't. Common sense.

I know who you're talking about and you're hitting your head against a brick wall here, dude! :) If I were you, I'd save the effort.

On second thought, someone else may pick up something positive from your post. Let's hope so at least.

I thought this site is full of people like "jasmeek" who just curse their decision of coming to canada. but now I am happy to see people coming in support of canada and really think that mixing in canadian culture and way of living is a first step to success in this country.

Guys, People who came here doesn't mean that they should love this country & culture.

At least I am very sure that an educated person will not call them 'loser' just because they don't like it here as lots of people do. This site is developed to say your opinion about Canada.

Doesn't matter where we are in this world we will miss India, as it is our home. all non Indian immigrants miss their homes too.

Canada doesn't have any culture to adapt because it is a country of immigrants, so actually it will give you opportunity to make Indian culture richer. As in India we follow lots of things just for sake.

When lots of us came here they didn't come here because India wasn't good enough.

Those who like it here, it is not right on your part to call names to India & Indians.

Those who don't like it here, try to take a better decision in your life, if situation allows either go back to our home or try to make a better living here. The more you hate Canada it will be harder for you to live here.

I am not taking any country's side, we liked this country, lived 8 years here & we are leaving for India for good.

dear I never wanted to call anyone "looser", but when people curse my land of work and afcourse my childrens home land, I get hot and spicey, in a same way if I call India anything bad and u people will react. but afcourse I will never curse India as it will remain my mother land.
other question u put is "Canada don't have any culture", thinking on it practically u r right. but if u see around we have people from pakistan, India, sri lanka, china, UAE, and europe.......
and I think it is the best thing up here that people living from such vast background and that too without any racism and riots among them. why don't we all live like this in India, y there are gujrat, 1984 sikh riots? y we same people coming here, don't wash our streets ourself? y we don't accept the same respect from police constable in India?
so in one way u r right, but in other we are who support being in Canada. and it is my request to all you people who after living here are moving back to India, that please don't curse this country. it is making a bad impression on going to be immigrants.
