If you have a computer (with DVD writer and connection of camcorder to you pc thru IEEE1394/USB) and software Ulead VideoStudio(will do conversion also PAL<-> NTSC) you can do by yourself.

Normally when you buy the camcorder you get the editing software with it

Hi ammaingevaa,
I want to convert my miniDV tapes to DVDs too, and I was searching the CD site for suggestions when I came across your post. So what did you eventually do about the tapes? If you found someone to convert them into DVDs for you, please let me know about them, I would be very interested. Thanks in advance.
