The ram mandir existed centuries ago but it still elicits passions for reconstructing the same.
Its been 50 years since the Holocaust. For people who suffered and lost their loved ones in the same, its not long enough. Germany is now on a different path. Remembering the holocaust, does not take away from Germanys current credibility NOR its achievements since then.
Its important to remember so it does not happen again. If you do not think so, you will have good company like that of Ahmednejad and others who say that its time to forget the holocaust OR even deny that it happened.

I emailed the link to a friend who replied with a question "When will a muslim guy make such a documentary on Kashmir?". And I can understand that sentiment too.
I don't have any hopes of this vicious cycle ending....as tragic as it is.

OR on the abduction and killing of innocents in various places including Iraq in the name of their religion.
Unfortunately, this documentary is probably going to be used more as a propaganda weapon to blame the hindus. Likewise, Some Hindus are going to react defensively with billegerent justification and other defensive methods.
However, as long as a few of us can use it for self-retrospection... its probably worth it. Thats what probably separates the civilized from the uncivilized.
