Hi,

After our entry as landed immigrant in 2006 summer. PRC cards for the entire family were mailed to our provided address in Canada except my Son's. They are requiring my Son to appear in person with atleast one parent for the photo retake session in Toronto.

The timeline provided was of 180 days and is close to expire. We are in US and can't go now due to job reasons.

What will happen if we are unable to go within the time frame and what's the remedy ?

Please help, I am very upset and as per my understanding and research. My Son would still retail his immigrant status and all we have to do is to reapply for his card again when we finally move to Canada.
