Hi
Any idea regarding good free internet based fax options that are available? I need to send/receive international faxes, but at the same time want to minimize cost by not going in for a fax machine & a 2nd phone line right now.
Suggestions/feedback would be appreciated.
Thanx

I have an account with this and it is very good.. so far.
One clarification.. To receive faxes it is FREE
to send yu have to pay (upgrade your your account to efax plus)
To send faxes for free, use vbuzzer...
http://www.vbuzzer.com/fax.php" target="_blank">http://www.vbuzzer.com/fax.php</a>
SImple, just install their messenger, and it will also install a print driver which can be used to fax documents, just select it from the printer options...when u click print

As per their website with free account you only get to receive up to 20 fax pages per month and you DO NOT get a local number which means the sender of the fax may have to pay long distance costs.
Did you get local number or a random out of area number for the free service?

Hi Pramodji,
Yes, You are right with efax FREE account you will "NOT" get a local number.
Since I have the efacx plus account, I have the local number (416).

I tried to regester and got this information :
If it's a free trial, why do you need my credit card?
If you cancel anytime during the 1 month free trial period, your credit card will not be charged for the normal subscription fee. Trial also includes a $5.00 (CAD) credit for usage fees (i.e sending). If you are enjoying faxing with eFax, do nothing, and your membership will automatically continue with a monthly fee of $18.00 (CAD), for as long as you choose to remain a subscriber. No commitments, no hassles. Cancel anytime
This is answering Pramod jee's one question.
My question is, Is there any identity theft chances in using E services? (especially when it is *free*). They may be saving docs what one is sending. Not sure it is encrypting.
