I have my file in process (e-cas), I live in mississauga and applied in may 2007, I recd the first response, also online says my file in process for back ground check, my question is: does it have any negative impact if you have change of address? second question, does it delay the processing if i relocated in Mississauga only? pls reply, I would appreciate a prompt reply.

It is in your best favour to inform, by calling them. I don't think it will make any negative impact or will delay your application.
Even if it delays your application for a week or two, you should inform them because if you have changed your address on your driving license, they would know that you have moved. Its just a matter of single click when they pull up your name/profile in their system.
If you haven't changed your address on your driving license and any other supporting document that you have provided, you can just let it go and wait for your citizenship test
When i did mine (test) 1 month ago, there were some people who were reporting on the spot that they were moved.

If you are in mississauga, and relocating in Peel region(mississauga, Brampton, Halton, Oakville etc. ) then I think there wouldn't be any impact as all this region are served by the peel region office of Mississauga. However, if you relocate to other area then depending upon the work load of that region your file may get delay by 2-3 weeks. It is also advisable to notify them they you have moved. I think it doesnt cause any delay for the processing time
I hope I get my exam end of the month or next at most... how long did it take for you guys to take your oath after exam? I would appreciate that too.

I had my test on 16 Aug and going for my oath today 13th sep.
Application was submit in March

Could you possibly let me know as to what date did you receive your Oath Letter? I also took my test on August 29, and am waiting for oath. I am a tad bit excited to know that you got your Oath Letter as your Test Date is pretty close to mine.
