Food eating in Pune/mumbai is indeed more exciting than in TO.
And somebody mentioned sizzler and the person's from Mumbai.
I remember the good ol' times at Kobe sizzlers and the one on Warden Road (can't remember the name and it doesn't exist anymore) and now Royale ifo Regal cinema where Bill Clinton also ate. Also the rest. in Pune next to West End Cinema and many more now.
Also Kyber and Delhi Darbar in Mumbai for North Indian food.Bombay Brasserie. Then great seafood at Excellensea and another just behind Khyber- don't remember the name.
However, I am a great fan of Thai, Chinese, Korean, Malaysian, Indonesian, Japanese food as well. Love satay and peanut sauce. Also gado-gado. Also mien and nasi goreng. Singapore curry. Kimchi. Bulgogi. Teriyaki. Teppanyaki. Sushi. Massanam curry.Tom Yong soup. and all the seafood cooked in Thai spices
Also great fan of gourmet European food- Fondue- cheese and bourguignonne.
Lobster Thermidor. Flambe dishes. Prawns in Newburg sauce.
Love Spanish paella also. Sangria too
Love Mexican tacos, tortillas, burritos, chimichanga, chicken in chocolate sauce and chilis. with lotsa margaritas.
Crepes with ice cream and cointreau cooked in orange juice
Icecream with triple sec.
Flambed gulab jamuns.
Plain ol' mixed grill on the BBQ.
Boy am I feeling grubby( as used in Pune). Who wants to stick (also used Pune style) me for lunch?Nobody? chal I'm all for sticking somebody.
Meet me at Dixie Park just south of the BMW dealership, south of Dixie and Eglinton.Good Chinese food.Just yell Caandian Desi and you'll get a free lunch and maybe we can shoot the breeze.

No trees were killed by this post, but a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

How about Mrs Saga for a change...
Hi Everybody
I totally agree to every body who has commented here but the reason what I understand here is the owner try to change the taste as to accomodate white customer as well as the Indian Community and the flavour and spice change because they cannot handle the spicy food and when you tell them to make your food spicy they just put chilli red or green which is even worst and spoil the taste of food.
I can guarantee you guys if you visit this restaurant once , you will be amazed and would to surprised that how come you never knew about this restaurant.
It is at 3007 Lake shore Blvd W , Etobicoke, ON and the Name is "Bombay On The Lake. It;s under new management. It is exactly at Lake shore and Islington.
I have been there so many time and the best part is the taste and quality is always the same. It's delicious and the service is very personal, what else you want.
They have both Veg and Non- Veg. and LLBO , Ideal to have a small get together or party.
