How is this VOIP ?

I recently got call from one of my friend in Toronto
He says calling from this VOIP.
There rates & services are good as per him.
Checked web site, looks okay
Of course for India & other I still use Reliance
But I am loking more for long distance in Canada & US as well as UAE

What are your views. How is there service, quality of communication as well rates

Also what happened after I got call from this friend in Toronto is really funny!

I got 3-4 different calls from companies like Callselect, Starttek etc etc

All says I am selected as customer for special offers & so so...

Is that related to that call

That means all such calls are taped or communication leaked

Need few suggetions

Though I have not used the above service, I have used Skype which is VoIP and their quality is good. Their unlimited North America is at $2.95 per month.

I think some telemarketers look out for Indian looking names in telephone directory, make a database, and then that data is sold to other companies.
