Hello,
Vow! I am fairly new to this site, but I think I’ve found a gem. Anyways, I have gone through many experiences and articles that you guys have wrote, some were positive, some were negative, and some people I think we’re just plain clueless about what they were writing..lol. But what I have collected from these articles is that Canada has it’s drawbacks and plus point, and some people wish to highlight the plus point, and some the minus ones. I have a couple of questions though:
>>1)How evident is racism in Canada? I mean would they let me buy a house in say a “white neighborhood”? or they would discard me because I was a shade darker!
>>2)I am in my final year of college, and I plan to do an MBA in marketing, what are the job prospects for MBA(marketing) grads?
>>3)I hope to find a job first before I apply for my immigration? Any tips on how I can find a decent job offer from here i.e. India?
I hope someone will have the time to answer these questions, I wish luck to all of you, and never been there, but I still think Canada is the best country to live in!

*Diclaimer: my experience*
They could not care less. Nor do I...if they are black, white or blue. I happen to own a house in a predominantly white neighbourhood. Our kids mingle well with each other. We talk to each other whenever we meet too. They look out for us as we do for them.

My both neighbours are white and it is not at all a problem for them. Racism doesn't exists that way.

No one can refuse you to buy a house just because you are blank or brown or white. However generaly there are communities developing. As more are more desis are buying houses on perticular streets/areas goras are moving out. Should we call this racism? I don't think so - it could be our way of living affecting them.

For example - every week-end we have many guests visiting us. Every month or so, we have small parties of 4-5 families and so on. This will definately affect them a bit, if they care about it. Like our guests parking cars on the streets for 3 hours, Kids playing loudly on the streers and so on.

As goras are usually peace loving and disciplined they might not like this and tend to move away.

It is not racism.
