When tea boils - it turns RED
When curry boils - it turns YELLOW
When MIL boils - she turns RED-YELLOW (laal pilli)

(if you dont get these color, the defect is in the 'stove' - pun intended)

MIL, 'stove'? I think I am missing the joke.

Just use the 'stove' analogy for the 'boiling MIL'...
Tea boils due to HOT Stove
Curry boils due to HOT Stove
MIL 'boils' due to?? Who can send MIL to BOILING TEMP???

So if any of them are not 'boiling'...the problem must be in the 'stove'...

I trust you get it now. I would hate to spell it out.
