Fido, Yes, we'll move to India anytime if my husband gets an opportunity, what matter now is not financial security but his career. I'll again repeat that my answer is different from others because our case is different. We are stuck because my hubby belongs to mining industry which is mostly done in SA, Africa or Quebec. We have never lived in Canada and currently where we live the place has no infrastructure, medical, schooling or other benefits Canada or India offers. Yeah air is pollution free but snakes (we have 10 incidences of snake in our garden, balcony and outside bathroom), anaconda's, crocodile (we have a creek opposite my home and guards keep coming to shoot them off, now and then), iguanas are plenty. This all scared us in the beginning but not now! My kids (5 yrs) love India cause it is full of people (family) who loves them, here no one knows us. May be my answer would have been different if we were in Canada but we are not there yet and I doubt/think will we ever take the plunge of coming to Canada?
We would have never come from India if our circumstances were like OP's. Let's conclude this story here and the OP decide what he wants to do, we both are looking at the same scene but have different interpretations.
Have a nice weekend, we are going to a wedding tomorrow in a small village (near to Guyana border), kids are excited for it!

I also feel it is better to go back to wherever we are getting job and better opportunities. What is so special in canada that, we cannot survive without canada.
Many people outside canada are not aware of situations in canada. More than half come to canada and suffer all these pathetic conditions doing labour jobs, cold weather, because canada is ticket to go to USA.
Seeing from all perspective, I wonder as whether, it is better to go back myself or stay for the sake of children. there is an eg: before me of a patel family in dubai, they are still in dubai, they send their children for further studies in Australia and now they are citizens and they have applied for their parents citizenship. our children also can come later for higher studies.
only time will tell but I think you need more courage to go back.

Finally i have made the decision of going back by the end of next month..have booked the tickets. If at all I decide to come back I would come for doing my masters in business by taking admission from india itself and land up in a university as soon as i come here but if things work out really well for me in india..i would try to stick around there..now i have seen canada i know what all problems i would face, what are the advantages etc...now I just hope i get back to decent career in india
Wish you good luck for your successful career in India!
