Similar process....

You can contest or pay. You could ignore...but at some point in the future (a good while from now), the ticket will convert into an arrest warrant, which, if you happen to go to US again and happen to get in the radar of any cop, will put you in trouble.

If you contest, you will have to go to a court in PA.

I do know MI and ON share the computer records and everything gets picked up...but I am not sure about rest of the provinces and states.

I believe driving records from ALL US states show up in Ontario MTO computers.
It is ironical that Ontario MTO still asks for a sealed copy of the driver's abstract from the US state DMV when transfering your driving license, when they can see all the information on their own computers, but that's another matter.

No, that is not true. US DMVs do not grant the "foreign"" DMVs the automatic access unless they have any agreement.

True. I believe it's only the bordering states. I know MI and NY do share the data with ON MTO.

You can request a Plea Bargain, where in you request the court to lower your ticket to a parking ticket and you pay the fine, this can be done through regular mail. I got the ticket in New York in June this year and got it reduced to a parking ticket, which I paid.
In case you don't pay the ticket it will show up on your ON licence, atleast for a NY state ticket it will, I am not sure about PA, but then again you dont want to get into any trouble.
For a Plea Bargain, your driving record has to be clean...no tickets and no supervisions/suspensions....hope this helps...
