No, as far as I think, it wont have an impact on your Canadian Insurance.

No, it's more than bordering states.
I know that several states that don't border Canada have their DMV data flow thru to Ontario MTO.

cdn_dude - do you know any specific states that don't have such an agreement?

California does not share the info (automatically) with cdn DMV/MTO. (FYI: Neither do they "recognize" cdn driver license - making canadian drivers to start from scratch, rather than just exchanging the DL)

Since NY/MI share the information with ON, they must be having an agreement or understanding. Otherwise there is no automatic cross-border access to each other's information.

Peacock1,

If you are bothered that your insurance rate will raise up, there is a work around. Almost every state that issue tickets in USA has three options, 1. To contest, 2. Plead Guilty, 3. No Contest or plead probation. This 3rd option is a boon. I mean you will have to pay the fine anyway (a little bit more than plead guilty in some cases). But your drivers Id will be kept on supervision with the state of Pennsylvania for say like3 months or you will be asked to pass an online drivers instruction test after attending the online classes. I would suggest you use this option if this ticket impacts your records. The point behind this 3rd option is most drivers are believed to be responsible :D and they just went over the speed in a sudden impulse of the moment! so they are kept under probation or instructed (soft prosecution  ) again of the rules. Hope this helps!

Thanks

Thanks friends for your responses, my ticket only offers 2 options plead guilty or no guilty with trial , in either cases I have to pay the fines upfront and then trial follows, there is nothing as plea bargain to reduce ticket option, I am thinking of pleading not guilty requesting for a trial and paying my fines, may be i'll try to extend the date of trial when it comes and delay the time on case , hoping as it works sometimes if the officer is not appearing in court on the trial date the case may get discharged on its own
