Yes u have ot carry the two passports and the OCI card.
They will give it back right there after stamping it and punching the holes. Ask for it in case they forget.

Is this still valid with a PIO or OCI ? A colleague needs to travel urgently and has less than 6 months left on his Canadian passport but has a PIO.

FOR SURE, you will not have any re-entry problem as long as it is valid on the day you reenter in Canada.

However, the advice is get it renewed since you have time.

Thanks will let him know. The thing is the travel plans are very soon so it is easier to renew after coming back. Because the PIO needs to be endorsed as well.
