On Canada’s highways if you are driving below 120km/h in 100km/h zone normally police won’t stop you. Can anyone give me some idea how is it in US? I am planning to visit Florida this winter break so going to drive thru quite a few states. Any suggestion or tips will be deeply appreciated.

Speed limits in most US highways range between 60 MPH (~ 100 KPH) and 70 MPH (~ 120 KPH).
As long as you stay 75 MPH or under, you should be fine.
Having said that, speed enforcing is strict on most highways leading into Florida, including I-75 and I-85.
And if you happen to be on I-10, do not exceed the posted speed limit at all.
Stay exactly at the limit or just under - enforcing is very strict on the FL stretch of I-10.
In general, flow with the traffic and don't be the fastest (or the slowest) guy on the road.
If everyone is doing 80+ MPH (quite common on long stretches of I-75/85), stay at or just under 80.
Finally, under bad weather conditions, cops will often stop people going at the speed limit even - the key is safety, not a posted number.
So if it's snowing and slippery, and the posted limit is 70 MPH but it's unsafe at that speed, stay under.
