I'm anticipating my PR in a couple of months. I live in the US. My in-laws are currently visiting us and I'm interested in combining my PR landing process with a Niagara/Toronto trip for my in-laws. I'm going to apply for a visitor visa for them. Will this complicate the landing process if self,spouse,kids and in-laws all show up for the landing process. I don't think my in-laws might be comfortable in going on their own to the immigration booth with the visitor visa.Just trying to avoid two trips!Any suggestions welcome.

The best you can do is provide a letter of support.
However, given that you are not a PR yet, your letter of support will mean nothing.
Your in-laws should apply for a visa on their own with their own documents.
They should ideally have applied for the visa while they were back in India.
They could try from the US - but it will be tricky.

Each person will be processed separately at the immigration counter.
Having said that, you will have to do a lot of organizing.
Coming into the country for the first time, will you have a place to live?
Where will they live?
How will you/they get around?
Will you be driving in?
If so, will you be importing the car?
Do you plan to go back into the US with them or will they go back in their own?
What about PR card?
Lots of things to think about and plan....

I will be driving in, will stay for a couple of days to see Niagara/Toronto and all of us will get back to US. I plan to stay in a hotel for a couple nights like I did during my last trip to Toronto. If I'm going to stay for only a couple of days, do i still have to import my car? For the PR Card, I'm planning to provide my friend's montreal address. Will collect it from him later.

You should still include it in your Goods to Follow list.

Prakrithi - your in-laws can visit Canada if they have a valid US visa and intend to stay less than 30 days.
It's unlikely you can use QC address on landing for your PR card but who knows.
