HI,
Need expert advise from fellow desi's:
I received a letter in the mail showing pictures of me running the red light in mississauga. All i remember is couple of weeks back i thought of running a yellow light but not red one. Anyways now i have a ticket of $325.00.
Anyone has gone through this type of situation?
1.Do i plead not guilty and go before the judge?
2. Do i plead guilty with explanation? - i want to do this option and reduce the fine. how does this work?
PLease share your experiences. I just have 10 more days left.
Thanks.
Probably light turned from orange to red while you was crossing it. Normally they say you MUST stop at orange light IF you can. Like if another vehicle is just behind and driver judge that stopping can be dangerous, then ...
Your plea can be (in case you opt to go for that) depending on what was the situation and why you could not stop.
I have a few qustions on this:
1. Other than fine will there be demerit points as well?
2. Does this affect insurance?
I appreciate your responses.

1. NO - the camera cannot detect the driver.
2. NO - because it does not show on your driving records.

Sorry but I could not understood why u said NO to both the questions. Is it a joke?
Isn't it the vehicle's plate which show up in the camera and the owner of that vehicle is affected.
