Marriage fraud is something the immigration department is very cognizant about. Just like some of the people are doubting ur original marriage likewise the immigration will be thinking along similar lines.
Chances are very high that ur application could take a long long time to process.
I have heard some cases where 6 years later the spousal sponsor has not completed.
U should be ready for the above scenarios and should have a mitigation plan otherwise ur next marriage could end up having similar consequences are ur first.

In an effort to cut down on spousal sponsorship fraud, Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) has put into action a new requirement where any new immigrant to Canada sponsored by a spouse or partner must have permanent residency (PR) status for 5 years before they themselves can sponsor a new spouse or partner from abroad.
This new requirement is effective immediately for new immigration applications under the Family Class category

This would mean you'll have to wait until Nov 2014, before you can start your sponsorship process. Add to that the time to process the application.
Thats handy info BB,
Unfortunately due to fraudsters , now people who are genuinely impacted and distressed from their broken marriages will have to suffer further. but then I think why a genuine case will suffer, dont we have marriageable people in Canada ?
my Question to jb1986 - With so many desis or 'other' human beings around why you still want to go out of the way and get married out of Canada ? You are living here and chances are you will meet somebody whom you may see as life partner.
Frankly its bit baffling to me. is there any pressure from parents? So much for the arranged marriage institution !
