A man is dead and a family forever shattered for a measly 100 bucks.
I hope they catch this creep and bring him to justice soon. Just the thought that a son lost his dad forever over something so trivial is enough to get your blood boiling.
R.I.P. Mr. Prajapati.

Are you there?
Very sad story. Highlights the realities of Canada.
The guy used to live in a mansion in Baroda and lived in a one bed apartment in Canada. He used to sleep in the living room while his son and wife slept in the bedroom. He immigrated in 2006 and after 6 years still was unable to get a job as a chemist.
Anyways the India bashers still will not understand or appriciate the realities of Canada.
Peace

Really?? Some poor guy just died and you want to make this a India vs. Canada thread?

Are you there?
Nope. Not really.
Read about the person in the article. He was a qualified chemist living in a palatial building in Baroda before he took the decision to immigrate to Canada in 2006. In 2012, he was still working full time in a gas station (mon-sat.).
Even if this person was a qualified chemist from Russia, I would have said the same.
In hindsight, I think that I was a fool to have worked (off and on) in factories from May 2002-Aug. 2002). No safety rules were followed in the chemical / printing / Manufacturing factories that I have worked for a $ 8.5 - $ 10 an hour.
Was just highlighting the realities of Canada. No individual (unless he is from Somalia / Rawanda) need to go through such phases in life.
Prevention is better than cure. Better safe than sorry.
Peace

I have Toronto star newspaper in front of me with his photo in inset and his family in grief. Brought tears in my eyes.
There is no relevance here on immigration and him not able to make good here, Its about a human life lost and few other scarred for life. Life will never be same for the lady and kid.
