Hi CD's,

Back to Toronto on September 11th. Couldn't update earlier because of the Bell internet goof up.
By god's grace my husband landed a job right after we arrived and has joined on 23rd. Even though its like entry-level, the important thing is its in his field.
We are in a basement apt in Scarborough now and have a look for apartments in downtown where his work is. I have just uploaded my resume in monster and indeed.
Hope to settle down smoothly before winter.
Would be needing lot of info on it, will keep posting. Thanks for all the help.

Is this your first time in Toronto? And if it is why do you use the subject as "Back in Toronto"?

If you have returned (back) to Toronto; Where had you been and how was your time away from Toronto?

Hi Lalitha,
Welcome back.
With RIM cutting jobs, there will be a lot of people available for tech. jobs. So tell your husband to hold his job as much as possible.
Hope we will see your family's success story on CD soon.
YOu may also look to see how you can buy a house soon.

Peace by Murai

Congratulations. Glad to see you are able to join your spouse and certainly glad to see the positive spirit. Best wishes to you.

Internet service is a pain as it always seems to go through some growing pains. It takes for these companies to tweak few times before they get it right.

Congratulations !

Average condo rent in DT is 1300 to 1500. one of my friend is paying 1500 for studio apartment. You might have to consider rent differential between both the places.
