I wonder if BC government recognise naturopathy, when the field itself is pretty "iffy". And then they have their college and their certification
For me, the term "certified naturopath" seems like an oxymoron

It is a very nice topic to read and understand and also to discuss here. In so doing, I wanted to provide you with the wiki link here and please go through the section PRACTITIONERS and Licensure, where in you will find that some of the Provinces in Canada do not recognize them as yet as Medical Practitioners. Then again there are Qualified Physicians who deal in this in their normal practice and also prescribe the required medications too. Hence it is getting popularity all over. But if the medications prescribed are effective or not is a matter that needs researching and would like to have the opinions of those who enjoy such services and their views to make a personal decision.
