To be honest : i don't think you should go into PC or IT if you have not worked or experience. There are so many of them with general knowledge , this field required expertise to success.
And Y I m saying this that you need knowledge and expertise ? - The way you are asking question to get train for simple PC repair shows that you are not familiar with field... ITS COMES WITH LOT OF INTERNAL INTEREST, if you had that you would have already learn troubleshooting and simple applications.
now, i can tell with my experience. When i came to Canada i saw It industry booming, i wanted also nice job, so i join computer science . half way i realize that it is not for me but i continue pursuit and finish my study. I got good job , worked for couple years BUT I KNEW THAT I WILL NOT STAY IN THE FIELD. Since i didn't have expertise like other nor i had too much intrest ( like geek)
I left the industry and start what i like to do and i am happy.
WITH YOUR SKILL IN CUSTOMER SERVICE, KEEP FOCUS ON OTHER SKILLS, such as logistics, data entry, even simple QA skills....
on side to get experience: buy cheap old PC from kijijij ( u might pickup free) .... mix match and fix them.. u will learn. - google , YouTube is there to help you
