I'm applying for a PR and need to submit my employment contract.
When I contacted my previous employer they told me to go to
http://www.theworknumber.com/Verifiers/index.asp
My question is:
Will this be accepted by CIC?
Should I provide them with the information they need to generate my verification OR should I generate the verification myself and get it notarized?
If I have to get it notarized, should I print it out and take it to the notary service or do I need to supply the notary service with the information and they will print it and notarize it?
Thank you for your help and inputs.
Hi,
Let me ask you a Q. Is this ex-employer someone from Canada ? If YES, then you should have your ROE (Record of Employment) from them. There can be nothing as authentic as ROE in Canada.
If NO, I guess you'll have to get it on your own from the web site and even get it notarised.
All the best
