I applied for my Canandian PR from USA. I got that and landed through vancouver. I gave my friends address in Brampton to send the PR Card. Unfortunately my friend went on a vacation. In the mean time they tried to deliver my PR Card. As there was no one they took it back. I am in USA right now. I tried to call the 1-800 number listed on the Canadian Website. As I am in USA, the call does not go through. Can somebody help me out on this one.

Did not understand " They tried to deliver"

It comes by normal post or you have to pick it up . There is no way that their not being in house can affect your PR card delivery .

once the new ammendments come into effect, they will no longer mail the card, but a notice that will tell you when and where to pick the card up...

it will get a lot tougher for the people who come just to land and then return to the US giving a friend's address...
