I managed to get 7 ntsc conversions done for $45 - vhs tapes. Though that is not the advertised rates, I talked with the shopowner - who I think is quite enterprising - and he agreed. For him, its really a "no-cost" and not a big deal. However, when a friend wnet to him later for one tape conversion, he paid $10. Probably bit of cost volume relation exists, thats my guess.
