its so apparent when you see a school girl with a ridiculously short skirt that it looks trashy. I was the first one say that school uniforms should flatter the individual who wears them and should be shortened or lengthened if required.
Basically I am just saying that the media had me worried about what kind of kids are out here and my own limited observation makes me feel abit concerned. I by no means think myself conservative and would be proud of my daughter if she wore cool clothes that i would feel awkward to carry off but my objection starts at the school uniform its not bold, it just looks bad the way they wear it and i just wonder what people who have kids
think?
I think you did the right thing by being restrained.
Here is what I observed at the place I work. Where a lot fo students come in to work.
1) White canadians - Very reserved, good to talk to if you want to engage them. Well behaved.
2) Black - Local born (I.e. African Canadians) - Very animated, uninhibited, loud talkers. But If you talkt o them very friendly.
Blacks who have come from Africa recently. Almost like us. Well mannered, dressed and spoken.
3) CBD (Canadian born Desi) - VEry loud talkers, use a lot of expletives. DOnt mix with Desis or any other group.

I would totaly agree with you on point 2 & 3 because I have not come across point 1 yet. I believe black are the best people to get along compare to any other race.
