just 3 months back i got my US driving licence, now i want to know that if i am eligible for G2 licence in canada after 3 months from now or, I will have to give written test to get G1 . We will move to windsor, in feb sometime.

After 6 months of having your US driving license, you can't exchange it for a Canadian license.
You will have to write the test and get a G1 license in Canada.

However, the 6 months of US driving experience will go on your record in Canada, which will help with insurance.
