hi,
I am newly landed Immigrant of Canada, i was just wondering, Is it possible to exchange the driving licence of USA to canada ?
As i was previously in USA and have a licence of USA almost 1 and half year old?
i just visit the local driving licence office in Northyork and came to know i have to submit the driving licence history from usa?
so i am bit confused regarding this?
did anybody pass from this situation?
and what exactly i have to submit to get the exchanged licence of canada?
pls advice if anyone passed from same situation.
Thanks,
You should be able to exchange your 1-1/2 year old US license for a G2 license.
Normally driving history is not needed because the Canadian MTO can view your US driving record on their computers.
But if they're asking for it, get a print out of driver's abstract from your DMV office in the US
