Any one who has collected PCC recently from Indian embassy in Dubai, or who has collected local PCC from dubai police? if so can any one give me the number or can you call me on 050-8518113 need some info.

Sorry, don't have the numbers, but here's procedure (as of 3 or 4 years ago) for info -


For Dubai PCC - go to the CID department near al Mulla plaza (it's on the right hand side as you head towards sharjah). Take pp copy, drivers licence, phtographs (I think 3 or 4), original pp. You'll need to get the form typed out - you can do that from several typing shops, on the way to Al Ghusais (near Al Bustan centre). The police take a week to prepare the pcc and the form is valid for 6 months. Carry some wipes to clean your fingertips (to remove the fingerprinting ink).

For Indian PCC - go to the consulate with pp copy, original ppt, photographs (3 or 4). The consulate will keep your ppt, but you can go after 10 days or so and ask them to release the ppt (as "you need to travel on business". You'll need to resubmit the ppt, when the PCC is being issued (the consulate will mark the pcc number/date etc on your passport). The consulate will take about 6 weeks to issue the pcc.
