I would not do that. Sense oF smell. What you may like might not be liked by the HR or hiring manager. The interview may go for a toss. It happened with me in India, only that I was on the other side of the table. The guy whom I was interviewing was wearing something which was 'strong'. My intention was to send him back as soon as possible.

You are right about india. Most people hate Scent/ deodrant but still they smell like crazy.
But in NA, it is the other way around. you need to put on a deodrant and people expect that esp. if you are desi and eat NV.. Also use a mouth wash before talking.
Other CD's can vouch for me in this , i am sure.

I think the correct thing to do would be wear something very light. Just so that you do not smell! Anyway the advantage in NA is you do not sweat so much right now. June onwards might be different.

Antiperspirants are not like colognes..they shouldnt smell strongly.
Avoid strong aftershaves .. or use lightly.
Chew gum before interview..just as effective
