Hi Freinds, I was glad to see Amchi Mumbai section here. Am landing in Toronto on January 31st for my one year course from Toronto Film College at 36 Eglinton Avenue West.

Would request if anybody amongst all is acquainted with the area nearby to network with as I am arriving in Toronto without knowing a Soul there except a couple of my college's management heads.

Hello everyone, I am formerly from Mumbai/Bombay, now living in South Africa.

I am a Gujju from Bombay and my hubby is a South Indian (4th/5th generation) from South Africa. He is an aeronautical engineer and I am an insurance claims adjuster. No kids..yet!

My husband and I have applied for permanent residency at CHC Pretoria - South Africa, have to wait until 3 years.

Have already started checking out Canada and the lifestyle there over the net extensively.. and I must say, it is heart warming to see so many fellow first generation Indians in Canada and such an active community there.

So damn good to read some Bambaiya, though deep down in the labyrinths of CD there is plenty of Bambaiya but no recent posts. So do keep it up.
