Hey Jhon,

My son had his test in the morning today (8th March) and then went to University. He called from there to let us know that he did well in the test. However, all other details would be available after he comes home in the evening. would share his experience later.

Hi for every one specially for pramod chopra for all the INF he provide
i just had my citizenship test today was really good not too hard or easy. i heard some pepole took them only five minutes to finsh, well this wasn't me i alomost did the full 1/2 hours .the questions were easy but just to make sure i had it right and two question was a bit confuesed when they ask under the canadian charter of right and freedoms the fundamantal freedoms means
1-freedom of religion , thought, belief and opinion
2-freedom of life, liberty and security of person
3-freedom of protection and services of the police and the courts
4 freedom to live and work anywhere in canada
this question drove me crazy i couldni't figure out the right answer as they are very close to each otherthat is why i still remeber it, well good was from 1 to 15 means u can make a mistake 16 and seventeen was easy and even 18-19-and 20. overal i would give the test 4 of 10
1 is too easy and 10 is too hard.i do have one more question for promod chopra. do u know how could i know if i did pass the test or do i have to wait for the letter for the oath do they tell me if i called for Aurora iam sorry to hear that that u got FB i would say the cic should send this letter in early stage if some one need it not at the end when u expect the test they send u FB letter instead it heard it takes 150 for the RCMP from the day u send it to the day they send it to the CIC
GOOD LUCK
r

Hi Jhon,

Conngratulations on your Citizenship Test. Yes, it is generally easy if you have studies the book 'a look at Canada' at least once and practiced the questions in Canadian Desi or any other web site. Now you are only one step away from the Citizenship Oath Ceremony and getting your Citizenship Card and Certificate. It might take another 4-6 weeks time before you would be called for the ceremony. I hope it has taken much less than the 12 months maximum time period they tell every one.

Now to answer your question. No, they do not tell you whether you pass or did not pass. You come to know of this only after receiving the official communication from them. Do not worry, you have passed it. Generally, people pass it and if by chance some one does not pass it, then the Citizenship Judge calls him for an interview and then pass that person. It is not like MBA exam. Basically they want to see if the person can understands at least basic English and have tried to learn something about Canada. Thats it.

Let us know when you are called for the Citizenship. I hope by that time, my son would also be receiving his Oath Ceremony letter.
