There's no column in the form for that.
Also, there is no comments section either.

I've already filled out the form and didn't see anything.

I am concerned about this because I have unexpired visas on my current passport that I need for my travel.

Do not worry Pratik, just mention it in your cover letter or mention it to the staff while handing it over to them (in case you are submitting it in person).

I did not even know about it / did not even strike me. Still, they promptly returned my old expired passport along with the new one.

They even return the old passport to you even after acquiring the cdn citizenship. Why would they keep the old passport then when you are still an Indian citizen?

Got my Indian passport renewed from embassy in toronto 4 months back..

Took 1-1/2 week and cost me aroung 40$.

I received a new passport along with my old passport.

they ask for a prepaid Canada post express, they also retain ur PR card.

Since my US visa is in the old passport i will need to carry both together..

Upon my last booklet issue , the Embassy in Middle East attached the old passport to the new passport by stapling the last page of old to first page of new making it appear like a booklet - this serves the purpose of carrying both of them together especially for un expired Visas.

Has anyone tried mailing the application. How as it worked. Do you have to send the original PR Card and Passport by mail or are photocopies ok

chittesh the answer to all your questions is yes. (you need to send originals)
There are several other posts outlining peoples' experience(who have done this)

Return - they do not have the right to retain the PR card!
