I have a couple of questions regarding the sponsorship of my wife who currently resides in UK, 5 months back I got married in India under the civil marriage act and I sponsored my wife from Canada, my wife who is working in UK, returned to UK after the marriage, CPC Mississauga approved my sponsorship application and it was forwarded to UK within a month, but in UK the processing took more time than we anticipated, and last week my wife was advised that she will have to attend an interview by mid November, my question is how much time will it take for the Canadian Embassy in UK to issue the visa once she clears the interview, is there any chance of she getting the visa stamped on her passport on the same day after the interview, if not how much time will it take for them to issue the visa, it would also be of great help if someone could shed light on how the interview process will be, what sort of questions will be asked etc, when I filed, I provided them with all the documentation that was needed.
I would like to thank everyone for reading this post and your valuable inputs and suggestions are much appreciated
I have the similar type of experience but not like you. You have come to know that your wife will be interviewed by November. I have applied during first week of May 2007, Singapore informed us they will let us know the interview schedule of my husband. Still there is no news, when they will call for interview ...........
I know you can understand my feelings, how I am passing life here. No update, no information just waiting for unceratin period of time for my husband interview.
6 months running that I have applied.
