Do they still hassell you at the border and ask you for fingerprints if you are a Canadian citizen with a passport? Thank you.

If you have been finger printed before, your record is already there. They may ask you to do it again but you can talk to them and if satisfied they will remove you.

Whom do you mean by saying "THEY"?

Canadian or US Border and Customs officers?

One of my friend is from Pakistan. When he was PR, he was finger printed and whenever he used to pass the border he has to go through the process.

Six months ago he got his citizenship. He was on cloud nine as he thought he will not be scanned again. But unfortunately his name was in US guard computer. Despite having his canadian passport he has to go through the process. On Black Friday week, he went to US and spoke with officer there. The officer was kind to him when the officer saw him with his family. The officer wrote some comments on the computer and told him that when he will visit next time he will allowed to be pass.

Just want to tell you that his siblings are in US and are canadian citizens.
