I have landed...last week..and took a house..near kennedy eglinton.
I am thinking of getting furniture from ikea is there someone who can transport that for me with a nominal fare/rate.Kindly let me know at the earliest.

Would be willing to help but have some deadline which require me to work 7 days a week for a few more weeks, hence not possible to help.
Is this in Scarborough (east york?) region ?

As far as I know , IKEA at Etobicoke has free shuttle service (Bus) from Kipling subway station to its location and hence if it is possible for you to carry it yourself, you can transport it to the subway station and through it ( I am assuming that you live near a subway stn.).
IKEA also has it own delivery service (for a charge).
