For those married say 30 years ago when no registration of marriages was done in India what kind of a document would satisfy the requirement of this certificate.

Your children's birth certificates will establish that you are spouses. You and your wife can swear an affidavit that you are spouses and married in 19??.

The status is that my mother who is 76 years of age is required to submit her birth and marriage certificates.
Her birth place is Dareslam in Africa. This certificate gets covered by her school marks sheet which shows the date of birth.
For marriage there is no document available to establish the date, including no birth certificate of mine showing parents names.
Please guide as to what document would suffice as marriage certificate in her case.
