Listen, I have never seen this kind of "uprising" in other forums. Why don't we curb ourselves and help the moderators curb the sorry asses?

Another feedback which I d like to share is ......... we must have defined lines as to what constitutes polite and impolite (read acceptable and un acceptable limits) posting behavior as politeness / decorum is a relative thing...... mods can discrete whether someone is treading that line and this does not refer to profanities alone.
Strong comments may be deemed un necessary as they then generate personal responses ............ differences should exist but they should be only restricted to opinions .
I know this is hard to track and control but when an un pleasant situation is arising or when moderators observe they can remind the members to be courteous and in keeping with the vibes at the forum ..... ir respective of who the member is ..............its a tough balancing act I agree but it can be a shot for the forum when needed .
One more thing ... which comes to mind .... just trying to share as many thoughts as come ..... is to control digressing from the topic for war of words as this is a frequent occurrence where threads leave the OP and find a new unwanted route .
Cheers ... Good day ahead .

OK, I see the logic of moderation and would retreat back from my opinion about the need of moderation. But isn't there a proper way to do it? Why call people names and edit their posts?
